Cheryl Mackay
Cheryl Mackay majored in fashion design and art at Southern Illinois University then attended the Paris American Academy in Paris, France where she studied design, illustration and international marketing. After careers in fashion retail management and product development, Cheryl returned to her love of art in the form of jewelry design in 1994.
Cheryl Mackay Designs includes an Art Glass Collection of sterling silver and gold filled beads mixed with hand blown furnace glass beads, a Children's Keepsake Collection of sterling and gold-filled beads mixed with freshwater pearls and Austrian crystals, a Faith Collection and other unique pieces made from exquisite beads and findings from across the world. Each piece is handmade in her studio with her staff and reflects her love for color and detail.
Cheryl Mackay Designs is dedicated to making fine, quality jewelry at affordable prices. Her designs can be found in fine gift stores across the country including the location of her own studio and store, Posh Unique Boutique, in historic Cottleville, Missouri.
Tina Shackleford
Tina has always had a fascination with the artistry of silver jewelry. She began her arts background in painting and fabric work. Knowing her love of the jewelry arts, she began classes in PMC (precious metal clay) under the expert teachings of Gail Dokuca of Glasshopper Studios. The class opened her mind to the endless possibilities of creating in silver. She started by making jewelry for her family and friends, and the hobby quickly bloomed into a business.
Tina loves to create silver designs that can be given as a very personal and unique gift. She always strives to make jewelry that women love to wear. Each piece is PURE silver and each piece is HANDMADE. All of her jewelry designs are born in her imagination and made with love. Tina lives in Defiance, MO with her husband Don of 39 years.
